Huh, what? The fact that she was interested in actually finding out FACTS about the man who wanted to be President means she was 'obsessed'? Sounds like she was trying to act responsibly, to me, something the MSM never did, all during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

As far as her being 'prepared' as a candidate is concerned, just how many Veep candidates, are truly prepared. They have to hit the ground running, and play catch up with the Presidential candidate's campaign. Sarah did quite well, I think, bringing a lot more voters to McCain than he would have had without her.

By dog whistling “race” through a convoluted reinterpretation of the president, Palin is tuning up her white-mother-of-the-nation racist rally-cry back in full-throated roar. Palin may confound the media, but her loyalists completely understand her scrambled message.
