By any normal rules of politics, Cain should be toast. So what’s going on?

Simply put, the media and Cain’s detractors have over-played their hand. By Friday night, Politico, which broke the original story, had published 94 articles on the allegations in under six days. Every other major publication had followed suit. Every time he stepped out of a room, Cain was mobbed by reporters.

Is that their best shot? They better bring the bigger dogs however Herman Cain has favor and defenders from above and beyond. They are messing with a heavenly prized possession and blowback can be a bit severe.

Between the facts that:

1. The accusers have yet to unveil themselves in public.

2. The writer of the original article is a known die-hard liberal who tried to take down Sarah Palin.

No wonder why people are really distrustful of the MSM nowadays.

The obvious happiness and excitement on the faces of the MSM when they are reporting ‘gotcha’ stories against conservatives is a dead give away of their deceit and true motives....and people do notice.
