NATIONAL SECURITY: TWEEDLEDUM-TWEEDLEDEE APPROACH!
The Edisto Joe Outlook ^ | 02/05/2010 | EJO

Alice, from "Through The Looking Glass" provides insight on Obama's National Security Policy.

President Obama and his administration along with the liberals in Congress have only themselves to blame for the uneasiness in the minds of the American people when it comes to national security and battling terrorism. From day one since taking office they have taken a "Tweedledum-Tweedledee", approach to the problem.

I have said often that Obama complicates simplicity, and turns the obvious into the ludicrous. It is an understatement to say their logic is flawed. Every action they have taken, from announcing the closing of Guantanamo, right up to the "Christmas Day Bomber" episode has been disastrous. It only makes sense to the liberal base that they are trying to appease but is simply out of touch with mainstream American thinking. It's all based on liberal logic. They know what is best and your concerns are of no consequence.

`I know what you're thinking about,' said Tweedledum; `but it isn't so, nohow.'

`Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, `if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.'

That pretty well sums up the administration's way of looking at the situation. Every major poll in the country shows that Americans want Guantanamo to stay open, they want terrorists to be tried by military tribunal, and they don't want terrorists to be Mirandized. Yet Obama continues on his course, unwilling to admit he was wrong and unwilling to believe that America is not on the same page with him. What could be the logical explanation to justify such thinking? There is none...at least from a rational point of view. It's all from liberal ideology aimed at some utopia that doesn't exist and never will. Even his own moderate Democrats are starting to walk away from this logic. With mid-term elections approaching they are fearing the Queen's voice, "Off with their heads." They are well aware by continuing to follow Obama on his course they are being led deeper into the woods and like Alice, soon to be lost. When they turn to the administration for help, they just receive a smile and are told to take a hit for their leader.

`I was thinking,' Alice said politely, `which is the best way out of this wood: it's getting so dark. Would you tell me, please?'

But the fat little men only looked at each other and grinned.

There is hope. If Obama is denied domestic funding for 9/11 trials by Congress, then he will most certainly need to return to Gitmo and place the trials in the hands of the military where they belong. That would most certainly inflame his liberal base and maybe cause Rohm Emanual to go off on them again with another "F-ing Retards" episode. I don't look for the President to give up on this, no matter what is being reported. He desperately needs to start getting his agenda pushed through. As with everything with Obama, it's a matter of personal pride and ego. Two qualities that don't sit well with leadership.

`Ditto,' said Tweedledum. `Ditto, ditto!' cried Tweedledee.

I hate terrorism as much as any one, however in the long haul it seems like a small detail under the circumstances.

We have a bunch of people in the present administration who seem to be trying to bring in socialism to this nation, and have been for many years.

If they continue in the path they are on, thats just what we will get, and what will we have?

All any one has to do is to read a little history, read about Adolf Hitler and Joe Stalin and a few more, all socialists.

The socialist governments has murdered millions of thier own people in the last hunderd years.

I read somewhere something like a hunderd million or more.

So i have heard, the moslems believe that the united states is the great satan, could it be that with the socialists taking over our country that they may be right?

Up until today the constitution has just been able to hold on by the skin of its teeth, that means that almost half of americans are either socialists or just too stupid to know that this country is supposed to be run as a free nation under God and run by the people.

We need to first defeat socialism, then worry about the terrorists. up until Obama is going to do what he wants.

Perhaps we should attack both. The terrorists would love nothing more than to bring this country down. If they could tear down the infrastructure than that would open the door for more socialist take over. I say fight both fronts at the same time. Attack both and keep the pressure on. A sound strategy this administration would never go for.

You are not wrong, i just don,t know how we are going to fight terrorism when our administration won.t fight it, but we can fight socialism at the polls.

And if we don,t win there, its because we are out numbered, and if we are out numbered, then one guess is as good as another.

Obama still has not published a National Security Strategy. It was due in July, 2009.

All we have from Obama is directives and rules of engagement.

No coherent policy.

Since you bring up Charles Dodgeson...It was in-(and bear with me for my memory is all) ‘Twere in “The Walrus and the Carpenter” that many devious ways of politics were revealed. The end of the poem was not the end, as true in what has been seen.
For it is a gift to realize as a child that these two were consuming all that walked with them and be wary. It is later we see also which couldn’t be printed. That is, having consumed the differences and supporters behind them,
having reached their destination, they consume each other.

Trying to explain that is to get into the difference between national socialism and communism. These geniuses now think that since this Nation is so mixed they can add a certain other mix to go towards a direction against all logic and Constitution. Walk alongside student socialists who when they become marxists what they do will revolt against “national” socialists. It’s all different here and laughible if not an occasion of crying.
All been done before and millions on other side of the ethosphere, who have already experienced this, are silent.
