I don’t know why I feel such a press within about it recently.
I just feel that soooooo many folks are going to be snookered, DECEIVED BY THE GREAT DECEPTION OF THE END TIMES that the Bible talks about.
I hate even thinking about that. Hate the thought that a single FREEPER would fall prey to that—particularly a single FREEPER CHRISTIAN.
I think that’s what’s kind of driving me about it. I don’t know why it feels more urgent recently.
There’s a lot of other—to my mind—higher priority stuff I’d prefer to be posting about Christianity on the Religion forum. But I don’t quite feel a peace to let this go and do that just yet. Not sure why.
Anyway—it’s an encouragement that a number of folks understand and pay attention and discern rightly.

November 13, 2008 Levittown, Pennsylvania - On July 13, 2008, I received a phone call from Robert Gardner, MUFON Field Investigator living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bob wanted to know if I knew a scientist who could analyze “glitter” that had fallen from a pink-colored, aerial disc over an apartment complex in Levittown. Bob's had talked with an eyewitness who first left him with the impression that sparkling, physical material had fallen onto a privet bush growing next to the female eyewitness's apartment. After I asked questions in order to get physical material to a scientist who helps me with energy dispersive spectroscopy and other laboratory tests, Bob learned that there was no physical material. But the eyewitness wanted to know what might have happened to the privet bush growing next to her apartment door. She was alarmed when she found a dead bird near the privet bush the next day after the April 20, 2008, sighting. Later on, the female eyewitness's daughter would also see the aerial craft.
Little Squares of Light Never Touched Ground
THEY WERE SMALL SQUARES?
Yes. They were glittering, but nothing physical fell on the ground.
ON THAT JUNE 12TH NIGHT, DID SHE TRY TO TOUCH THE SPARKLING FLAKES?
No, she did not approach them. The sparkling things came down to about three feet off the ground.

Yes, and they were just hanging around floating in the air for about 20 minutes.

That’s what happened this fall with Jon M. Spaulding, who has given me permission to use his full real name. He was born in 1945 and is now retired at age 63 with a serious breathing disability that might be linked to his UFO encounter in 1992. He worked in law enforcement in Rumford, Maine, and in the Colorado Springs, Colorado, region from 1982 until 2001. He was chief investigator in a detectives team when he retired because of his physical disability.
. . . You always had to look down there because if you turn at the wrong time and someone hit a golf ball (laughs), it might come through your windshield. There was no one at the tee-box or out on the course. As I make my right turn, I looked up and noticed above the top of the trees and probably a thousand yards away were what appeared to be landing lights of a large aircraft.

I looked at what I thought was a plane and it was only a couple hundred yards off the ground. I’m thinking, ‘My God, this guy is going to crash and he’s going to hit me. I can’t get out of the way.’ I kind of froze, to tell you the truth.

So, I stood there and looked at it - and then I saw it! Have you ever seen the movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger called Predator? It took place in a jungle and they had this alien enemy up in the trees and they could not see it until it moved because you could see right through it. Once it started to move, you could see the outline of it. But you really had to be looking hard. That’s exactly what happened with this UFO thing.

Probably 60 yards.

I’m telling you, in just a blink of an eye, he was gone! And whether he left or whether he shut off the lights and just set there in the air, I don’t know. All I know is that he was gone.

And I said, ‘Why don’t you tell me what happened to me on the way to work tonight?’
He said, ‘Well, we were just checking up on you.’

He said, ‘Let me explain this.’ He then stood there and proceeded to tell me about my entire life from the day I was born to the present moment and he never missed a thing. He knew everything about me – things I had forgotten about! Things I had tried to keep secret in my life. He knew it all, everything.

Golf Course Grass Dies in Cigar-Shape
The other strange thing is that the grass area at the golf course where this thing with the lights was apparently hovering, the grass in the roughage area turned brown. I noticed the next spring, they had come out and replaced all that sod in there and got rid of all that brown grass. Then that grass also turned brown!

. . . One hunter had on a hat light and the other hunter had on a Mini-Mag light. Out of the darkness ahead appeared two greenish-blue lights. Over the next five minutes, the hunters were stunned by what happened.

. . . Those beams are about ten feet off the ground; they were projected parallel with the ground straight out projecting from the original point.

Lime Green, Glowing Humanoid
What was described to me was that the humanoid-shaped being looked like the silhouette of a person, but was glowing a light, lime green color. The witness said to me that the best way to describe the entity was if you got glow-in-the-dark paint and put it all over your body. He said that’s what the thing looked like. He said it was about three feet tall. The arms were hanging down to the sides and appeared to be longer than arms of a human being. The legs were not very clear. The hunter said the glowing around this entity was kind of blocking out the shape, so it was hard to see the figure. The color, he said, was a light green lime color. He said he and his other hunter friend were walking through the woods at a pretty fast pace, and yet the way the entity was moving about twice as fast as they were and it gave the impression that it was actually gliding, rather than walking – gliding above the grassy field and there was no sound they could hear.

I know I’ve had instances of entities in peoples’ homes that floated. In some cases, the people could not see the legs of the entities – the legs were not clear – but the entities were able to float around in the house. I can’t say in all cases, the entities glowed, but I have heard similar reports going back many years.

And I realize this is my turf--psychology and all--but I don't have a lot of colleagues handy at the moment so you're it! LOL.
This issue of BELIEF and PERCEPTION is an interesting issue.
We know from quite a lot of research that
EXPECTATION can alter perception.
And
that BELIEF can alter perception--BELIEF tends to involve DIFFERENT EXPECTATIONS about what will be observed.
I notice that I'm often tweaky about the perceptions of a long list of naysayers being compromised by their willful blindness. But most of the time, I'm writing that fingers in cheek. I think there's an element of it that's true . . . but I'm mostly thinking that underneath it all, THEIR PERCEPTIONS ARE REASONABLY GOOD--THEY ARE JUST DENYING WHAT THEY ARE PERCEIVING.
Now, I'm not so sure.
It increasingly seems to be the case that a sizeable percentage of naysayers have BELIEFS ABOUT the UFO phenomena that are SOOOOOO INTENSE, ENTRENCHED, NARROW, RIGID ETC.
THAT they are truly INCAPABLE of objective observations and objectively registering those observations on their consciousness.
I think I'd always allowed that such might be partially going on for some few poor souls. But I didn't really think it was THAT bad.
Recently, it seems that the evidence is repeatedly slapping me in the face--IT !!!!IS!!!! THAT BAD!
I know that with folks who have gathered on mountains in the past to await Christ's return per one of their presumptive "prophets" . . . that when the day comes and passes with no APPEARANCE, they merely accommodate the non-appearance in some intellectual slight-of-brain sort of way.
This seems to be what I've been reluctant to acknowledge is REALLY GOING ON with so many of the naysayers.
When confronted with objective reality . . . the naysayers either:
1. Simply deny and block out the evidence--sounding for all the world like they REALLY DO NOT SEE the red barn door 3 feet in front of their eyes.
OR
2. They refuse to look at the barn door--pretending that if they don't open their eyes--it won't be there.
That last one is incredible. As Piaget demonstrated, that kind of mental process is outgrown around age 2 or so.
What DYNAMICS--emotional or otherwise--drive an adult--partiuclarly a college educated adult, as some of the naysayers seem to be, . . . particularly "hard science" types . . . WHAT DRIVES such a person to such a stance? What forces are THAT STRONG so as to
DISTORT so WHOLESALE the very raw perceptions of reality???
That's really a fascinating question to me. And I don't have a lot of easy answers.
Would love for some ideas, if any of you have such ideas.
