No Giuliani, No McCain
Petition Online ^ | Dec. 14, 2006 | Andrew Longman

Posted on 12/15/2006 7:22:32 PM PST by FarRockaway

To: The Republican Party

I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Sincerely,

Heheheheh!
You're making my point for me!
You are so right! THE LAST 30 DAYS! Is it a whole 30?

But what about the last 30 years, circum?

2002 stance: supported Roe v. Wade.
1994 stance: abortion shoudl be safe and legal

And all the way back in February of this year (that's longer
than 30 days) he told the Catholic church that
Catholic adoption charities would be forced to place
babies with homosexuals.

Has he sponsored a declaration of war against Iran
in the last 30 minutes?

Did you know that 15 minutes ago he supported an
assault weapons ban?

And how about this sweet pink little gay-pride poster?

Do your homework.

"Back to the point: Romney's religion would not be a problem for me, were he the GOP nominee."

If you want to risk another Harry Reid who believes he is God and got his planet early, fine, but count me out.

Say Romney wins, are you willing to defend Mormon cultism day in, day out, for eight years? I would think you might want to read the Book of Mormon and about the Gold Tablets hidden in guncases and Joseph Smith being repeatedly run out of town, before you help lock us all into a nightmare.

"Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web."

I don't see the word "republican" in there anywhere.

There is difference between a thread posted to FR, in the WRONG place, no less ( this is a vanity; it is NOT news ! ) and going off to some other site and sign a dumb online petition, that is not only childishly stupid, but which do NOTHING whatsoever...except waste one's time.

Personally I don't believe the eventual GOP nominee is even on the radar yet.

You had better get crackin'.

Obabama's out there working the field.

Who does the stupid party have as an opponent?

Giddy Dole? Rudy? They don't stand a chance.

LMAO

You said -- "McCain wins republican nom and I'm out. I'll be voting third party."

I'm with you on that one. I won't vote for McManiac, either.

I live close to Kirtland so I know exactly what you mean. If Romney were the nominee, I would certainly vote for him. BUT knowing all I know about Mormonism and living near their Holy Ground, I have my reservations.

The originator of this thread sent me mail with a list of some unusual beliefs held by Mormons over the years. Every religion on earth has beliefs, rituals, etc that are a bit strange to all others who are not involved.

Maybe the poster (FarRockaway) really IS Bay Buchanan? Busy little Tancredo supporter. Denied to me that s/he was posting against Mormons!

The level of intolerance of some here tonight is more intense than usual, along with an often vicious approach to anyone who doesn't agree with them in condemning all Mormons, all Muslims etc.

It's been disgusting, to say the least.

Jim is pragmatic, as are most of us here. It's a two party system. Live with it.

Fast Coyote's attacks against me have been personal and vicious. Is that sort of thing allowed now on the F.R.? And all I talked about was "religious tolerance"...I guess that is synonymous now with "idiot".

Hit abuse, Bonnie. You don't have to endure vicious, personal attacks. I'll go have a look.

Obviously you are referring to moi. However, I do you no service if I do not point out the error of your ways :)

By the way, I do not condemn ALL Mormons or Muslims, just those who wish to run for high political office. That is hardly vicious, it's instead something I like to call "self preservation", which is perhaps moving to a philosophical plane one too deep. I think even invertebrates are allowed to look to their own survival without guilt, are they not?
