How come nobody's made the observation that the journalist felt compelled to note his citizenship?

There were only about a billion FR posts essentially stating that since it wasn't stated in the press whether he was illegal or not that he must be an illegal and they're covering it up.

In all likelihood, he's a Democrat, which should be excuse enough. The fact that he wussed out on killing himself and killed 10 other people instead isn't bad enough; there must be something else to bad-mouth him for.
