Thanks for the ping Wolfstar. As I tried to explain on the other thread, it just didn't make sense to me that the press would sit on information that would enflame the situation more than it already is. The press just loves to fight fires with gasoline.
Would the press sit on the information? Possible, but not probable, at least in my opinion.
Now we have to do what we can to make sure this guy gets the punishment he deserves. As an aside and in reference to and "Insanity" defense, by definition, wouldn't you have to be just a little bit unstable commit any kind of violent crime?
They had mentally imbalanced folks during the 1800's, it's just that when they killed someone, they ended up swinging from the end of a rope. How I long for the days when we were uncivilized . . . there was so much less crime and corruption.
