I'm beginning to think that maybe he did work for MI5 and all his posts were a British Intelligence Op to boost American support for the Iraq Invasion. Tony Blair seriously wanted to get rid of Saddam Hussein and I believe some of the reasons for Saddam's departure are still secret.

MadIvan registered in 1998. Here is his profile page. I know his given name and perhaps will see if I can locate him. However, he is not a British agent, in my opinion, unless Tony Blair assigned one to Free Republic prior to the end of the Clinton administration.

LOL. This all makes sense now. As we know, Mr. Blair is an extremely intelligent man, and he can access all sorts of secret information--including the sealed files on Clinton's college-days protesting in England. Mr. Blair knew Clinton would bloody-well screw things up in the Mideast and set us up for 9/11. Therefore, he planted MadIvan to drum up Freeper support for the war.

It's not far-fetched to think that Britain would want to maintain support in America for the Iraq war if they believed Saddam was a serious threat to them. I find it odd that MadIvan suddenly stopped posting articles here back in May after being such a prolific poster for a long time.

MadIvan was here since 1998. Although I understand your theory, it doesn't make sense that the British would plant an agent here in 1998 on the off chance that he might be needed to stir up support for a war that wasn't anticipated by anyone at that time.

Gaza on brink of implosion as aid cut-off starts to bite

An empty watchtower overlooks a deserted road lined with rusting vehicle parts. The only traffic is a pregnant bitch and a mule and cart. This is Gaza's economic lifeline, the Karni crossing into Israel, which is supposed to handle 1,300 containers of merchandise and food per day in order to sustain 1.3 million people. But nothing is entering or leaving Gaza, and now the funds to purchase what is available there are also drying up, bringing the dire situation of its people to a new and febrile crisis
