Thanks for posting this. Fascinating stuff to read! My parents saw "something" in the sky here in southern California in the early 'fifties. They said that it was shiny and cigar-shaped, and it hovered for ten minutes. They were not ones to tell frivolous stories, and I believe their story to be the truth.

I saw something in 1965 when I was a kid. What I saw hovered too. I was round and the lights seemed to go on and off in a circle around it like a marquee. It was low and it didn't make a sound. I lived in Chicago, not out in the boonies. I never forgot it

One has to wear their asbestos/titanium jock strap when posting such hereon. The tinfoil hat flingers can become rather fierce and very routinely quite insulting at best.
