Good Morning Everyone! Happy Easter! The kids already opened their baskets and ds keeps looking anxiously towards the colorful eggs in the backyard. DD is sick with fever and headcold today, so DH and DS went to mass without us. I miss going to church on today of all days, but the thought of having to stand for 1 1/2 hours with a sick child didn't sit well with me.

I told DH that I wish they had a "secret" mass for those of us that go on a regular basis so we don't have to fight the crowds and no parking. =)

DS was so sweet. While having breakfast he said, "I know that Easter isn't about the Easter Bunny and getting candy. It's about Jesus dying for us so we can live."

We were 15 minutes early for Mass this morning, and we were the last ones to get a seat. All the people who only go on Christmas and Easter come early so they can get 'our' seats.

Happy Easter.

I went out on my quest for half off Peeps and candy today, and just my luck, all the stores are closed.

Operation Peeps will have to begin tomorrow.

Happy Easter, all.

Well, we could've used a little global warming for our outdoor Easter Vigil this early morning. Most of the women showed up in spring dresses and froze.

Phlox and Roses,,, what a great combination,,, add a little Baby's Breath and you'd have a bouquet.

For New Englanders, Patriots' Day remains the quintessential observance: the anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolutionary War with skirmishes between British troops and the Minute Men of Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts, and preceded by Paul Revere's famous Midnight Ride. For runners, Patriots' Day has become synonymous with the Boston Marathon or, as locals often refer to the day, Marathon Monday.

The events of more than two centuries ago in April 1775, now commemorated as the Patriots' Day holiday in Massachusetts and Maine, marked a turning point in the long struggle between England and her American colonies. In a march of protest and petition turned independence and revolution, the fighting on April 19, 1775 foreshadowed the rebellious action of the American colonies in ultimately creating a new nation, the United States of America. Originally celebrated on April 19, Patriots' Day was moved to the third Monday of April in 1969.

Happy Patriot's Day everyone, wherever you live.

Good Morning!!! Operation Peeps is in full force.

I got up at 7 am this morning, and hit every store I could for Peeps and Pez. My packing room smells like a sugar factory. As soon as I get all these customs forms filled out it's off to the post office.

I also found some soft and chewy jerky at Walmart. Big bags of it. I read that the troops really wanted jerky, so thanks to all of you at the Guild, it's on it's way!!

So who has the details on Hillary's 9-11 coverup?

And what the heck happened to all of our profile page bookmarks!!?!?!?!
