Sorry about the vanity post, but does anyone really know who Clintons father was?
With his angling for the Secretary General of the U.N. and with the exclusive safe harbors he is always given, where does this guy come from and how is he so vigorously defended?
Does anyone think his conveniently deceased mother knew??
Sorry I blew this post so bad the first time..!

And why are you taking up bandwidth with this crap. Does anybody really know?
To: kevin
The same man who fathered Elvis Presley.
Sorry but I think they are alike and both hail from the same part of the country.

The official version is that Bill's father was William Jefferson Blythe III, who died in a car crash a few months before Bill was born. His mother married Roger Clinton, Sr. when Bill was a young boy. Bill was known as William Jefferson Blythe IV until he legally changed his name to William Jefferson Clinton (after his abusive step-father) when he was 16. But I read in one of those unauthorized Clinton biographies that Clinton later said that he suffered a lot as an adolescent because he never knew for sure who his real father was. Gossipy Arkansans liked to point out that old Virginia Kelly (Mr. Kelly was her third husband) liked to paint the town while her husband Mr. Blythe was away serving in the military, and that the only time she saw her husband within a year of Bill's birth was one night in Chicago 7 months before Bill was born (Virginia Kelly claimed that the meeting was 9 months before the birth, but government records show otherwise). The doctor who delivered Bill said he was a huge baby and that there was no way he could have been a preemie. So maybe William Blythe was Bill Clinton's natural father, and maybe he wasn't. But Bill Clinton was raised by Roger Clinton, and called him "Dad," and frankly I don't see what difference it makes who his biological father was. After his eight years of defecating on the Constitution and on the Ten Commandments, I don't think it's necessary to prove that William Blythe wasn't Bill Clinton's natural father to be allowed to call Bill Clinton a bastard.

Funny freepers...you all ought to give a damn...or have you forgotten (ICC, Arms To China, North Korea)already what damage WJC has done to this country and what damage he will continue to do if elected Secretary General? No one's forgotten. But the makeup of his parentage is immaterial to his actions today. He's a moron from Arkansas who looks good on camera, talks a good game, and has much of the country snowed - despite being one of the most despicable individuals to ever hold political office.
Can he cause problems if/when he becomes SG at the UN? Probably (especially if his vindictive harpy of a wife can capture the White House simultaneously). But our task is clear. We cannot exert any pressure on the UN; Our work is better suited for trying to get the US out of that antiquated body, and to get them to leave the United States entirely.
So, in that regard, Bubba's father could be a misplaced Bigfoot for all I care. There are certainly more important issues that face us today than who Bubba's daddy was.

I'm not sure about this rhetorical question, but your keywords give the answer away. There was a story/canard going around at the time of Clinton's election that he was really the illegitimate son of Nelson Rockerfeller. What that has to do with his becoming secretary general of the UN is somewhat questionable. When I first encountered this claim/canard, the evidence was (1) rumor (2) a certain striking physical resemblance to N. Rockerfeller. Now the hypothesis is not as outrageous as it may seem because it is well-known that up until the 1960s at least it was common for the sons of the very rich and well-to-do (Rockerfellers, Kennedys, etc.) on the East Coast to have "vacation weekends" in college and resort towns, such as Hot Springs Arkansas. The Rockerfellers, as well as Al Capone, spent a lot of time in Hot Springs. This weekends usually involved pre-arranging dates wih "respectable women", who were expected to sleep with "one of the boys" and of course be paid well to keep quiet. I did hear this through the grapevine but from my very own my own mother who was approached by a Rockerfeller front man when she was a senior in college in the Northeast. She was put off by the proposition and said no, but apparently one of her girl friends accepted the offer and confided what had happened. It is possible, although there is no evidence, that the same thing happened with Clinton's mother. Apparently they didn't discriminate between married and unmarried women, and the money was very good by the standards of those days.
Now here is an interesting discrepency. When Clinton was elected I read the official biography put out by his press people about his life, including the death of his father by "traffic accident". It said his father died on a slippery highway coming home in Northern Arkansas. Several weeks later I happened to be driving home from Memphis to my home in the Fort Worth area and I stopped in Hope, Arkansas at the fledgling Clinton museum and souveneer stand put together apparently by some of his relatives. I picked up a booklet on his life put out by the museum. It said his father died by "falling under a train" in Sherman, Texas (which is quite a ways from Northern Arkansas, but where his father's family, the Jefferson, came from). Supposedly the train accident happened a month before the official version. I would imagine by now the two versions have been reconciled. But, fascinated by the discrepency, I took the booklet to a local historian and author who was already researching Clinton family history and knew a lot about the family (He himself was from Southeastern Oklahoma). He kind of rolled his eyes and said "the booklet version is the correct one." So Mom gets pregnant and dad "falls" under a train? The other piece of information I learned is that Clinton's mother and father at the time (spring 1946) were supposedly separated (because of Dad's alleged dalliance with so many women), so Clinton's father couldn't really have been coming home to Mom as the official version speaks. Doesn't "prove" anything, and only suggests that there is more to Clinton's birth than meets the idea.

Sorry, I realize I referred to Clinton's family as "Jefferson" rather than as "Blythe." Typo.

I wasn't joking. I really think it was a possibility that his mother was a hooker, molested by family members from her youth, who grew up working the streets of wherever, when Kennedy came to visit...
It would explain his thinking he had a destiny to fulfill in history...
It would explain that look on his face when he personally shook kennedy's hand in that clip... "at last I get to touch my daddy..."
Clinton as a boy appeared to have been kept well, in a private school. Where does a hooker drug addict mother, get the bucks to enroll her kid in a private school? Blackmail of an influential politician? How does she get her son into contact with political people? School at harvard or yale, or oxford for chrissakes?
You asked an unknowable answer. And you get pissed off because we speculate or joke about the possibilties... sheesh!

I should have said, Is there something or someone in Klintons Lineage, who has offered this moron from Arkansas, total protection and guaranteed success.
Let's roll with that, why the immunity factor, who's money is behind him?
