I've not followed the show before today, but watching the recap and hearing Zora talk about making do with almost nothing I knew she'd be the better choice and would accept, especially given Paul's incessant teasing about the "special twist". The $1M gift is, I'm sure, pretty small potatoes compared to the ad revenue from the last show alone.

I should be shot for having watched 1 minute of this idiocy.

Ah, you can't the moment. Thanks, I had skipped the show(too much work to do).

can't = caught

Could it have been any more obvious that this show was nothing more than an elaborately produced soap opera, disguised as a reality show?

Watched for the first time last night.....just couldn't bear another minute of the hate America fests around the world.
I was so impressed with Zora, who lives and works not far from our town. After listening to Joe's friends speak about him, I found the ending touching and heartwarming. If any of this was real, and I have no idea, it would seem to me that she was relieved that he wasn't a millionaire!

Hon, I was weeping but over the damn taxes those two love struck ninnies are gonna pay. This was fab trash,,I watched like a true slave to the tube every moment. Evan was some dumb guy,,Zora was smarter. She will dump that guy soon as the money is split and the tax man is paid.

I have to wonder that since the check for $1 million was presented to them in France, do they have to pay French and US income taxes? This would leave them with very little.
