Well no, John.  Not really.  You see, that money
is not in the state treasury.  It is in people's pockets.
But if you were to say the regulation would
allow millions of dollars to stay with the people
who earned it, it just wouldn't be the same
would it?  Isn't that what they teach you
guys at the Columbia School of Fraudcasting?

They do not want to admit that it's not about confusing tax laws, it's about the fact that smokers may actually be buying less cigarettes because of prohibitive taxes and you can't have that because it takes money AWAY from the state. They finally figured it out that these stupid taxes screw them over.

Your right, there buying less smokes and getting them from the internet which means less money in their coffers. If they would lower their taxes and be competive with the internet prices they would have more money to play with...But that wouldn't be Politicly Correct...

Join the Smoker's Tea Party by getting your cigarettes on line from overseas. I use yesmoke.com and get my Camel 100's for $14.95 from Switzerland. And they arrive at my door! LOL Pass it on-everyone knows people who smoke. Let the greedy states live with ZERO tax money! We've had enough!
