That was some good wrangling. I’m guessing this guy has been handling gators most of his life. There seemed to be zero fear or hesitation from him.
He had an advantage in that this looked like a young gator, not yet grown to full size. All the police wisely stood back and let the wrangler do his thing.

That whole story was fun and good...the guy shows up with no shoes, a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off, bulging biceps, and looked like Larry The Cable Guy who jumped out of a car stopped in traffic to save the day, but was actually a well trained and experienced animal control officer who knew just what he was doing.

When he grabbed the jaws of the alligator and held them together, pulling them up to his chest while he pulled a roll of tape from his breast pocket and used his teeth to pull a strip off so he could wrap the snout, I laughed.

I am notoriously bad with things like one-handed duct tape removal, and I always make a mess and am unsuccessful.

I told my wife, if that had been me wrangling that gator, I would have screwed up with the tape, gotten completely distracted when the tape stuck to itself and I tried to fix it, and I would have ended up rolling on the ground with the alligator in my arms and my hand in its mouth!

That was certainly NOT his first rodeo!

Loved when he was holding the gator with one hand / arm, and trying to get his tape started with the other. Cops didn’t even step in to help with THAT! LOL
