Suppose that everything goes well this November with a Trump win and the GOP retaking both houses of Congress with large majorities. Trump then proceeds to follow through with his promise of EOs on day 1 to allow 'drill baby drill', undoing all of Biden's destructive anti-fossil fuel policies that he (Biden) imposed on day 1.

I wonder how many oil and gas producers will refuse to take the risk and make the 'drill baby drill' investment, knowing full well that they could be shut down and regulated out of existence in 4 years time if the next election cycle goes badly.
