It seems that numerous colleges of agriculture and their extension offices are cutting positions and filling the vacant-due-to-retirement ones with DEI candidates.

I don’t blame you. We become Mama Bears when our kids are being hurt. I hope your son can find something in the private sector. Heterosexual white males may have to start pretending to be gay or trans women just to get a job.
I’m 60 this October. It took me 7 months to get a contract as a software test automation engineer. It’s tough out there. I wish I could retire.
