Can you tell us about any firsthand experience you have with this disorder?
Hooray for Florida education! (no kudos for USF, however.)
Hooray for Gov. DeSantis!
I never met Ben Sasse, but your question itself seems to come from a need to defend or promote him.
“It’s my Alma Mater as well, late 70s when I was there, “
75-79
“Do you even know who ben sasse is? He’s a traitorous POS. Ya, thanks desanctomonious and Florida state-university for rewarding another anti-American POS.”
He is a very conservative and able administrator. DeSantis picked the right person for the job.
*Do you even know who ben sasse is? He’s a traitorous POS. Ya, thanks desanctomonious and Florida state-university for rewarding another anti-American POS.*
Come on. I didn’t like him either. Let’s just say he’s a good ex-senator like Jimmy Carter is a good ex-president.
Graduated in December 1980, first class to go thru the O’Connell Center for Graduation.
But why would Ben Sasse decide to be a communist and then pretend to be a conservative?
some people can’t even take the slightest win for our side without crapping all over it.
A hero used to be anyone who hit over 40%. Trump did much more than that. NO ONE hits them all.
Any time there is a surprise hit, be encouraged.
“I never met Ben Sasse, but your question itself seems to come from a need to defend or promote him.”
You ducked the question and flamed the questioner. How noble you are, Saul.
“But why would Ben Sasse decide to be a communist and then pretend to be a conservative?”
Lol!
“Ya, thanks desanctomonious”
I guess you didn’t get the memo or maybe you forgot your meds?
“Any time there is a surprise hit, be encouraged.”
This wasn’t a surprise. He is doing the bidding of DeSantis.
When Sasse was in Washington he definitely was a RINO, maybe the influence of lobbyists in Washington he couldn’t resist, Gainesville, FL is not anywhere close to Washington, maybe being a college President is his calling, who knows what the reasons are, compare him to all the Presidents at these colleges allowing all the protests, take the win and enjoy it.
“Where were he and other college leaders when conservative speakers and attendees are assaulted by communist terrorists on campuses from Maine to California?”
He wasn’t a college leader then.
The same nonsense was going on when I was a student back in the late 60s and early 70s against the Vietnam war. I think the same people are doing this. They won’t stop until they get what the want. We need S.I. Hayakawa but I fear academia no longer produces such men or women.
I feel the need to defend reason because it is under attack.
You have posted: “. . . Sasse is served very well by injecting himself into a conflict he cares nothing about.”
I will simply ask: Why do you say that Sasse - a major University president - cares nothing about potential violence and intimidation on his campus by a pro-terrorist organization?
Why do you say Sasse cares nothing about the safety of students on his campus?
Who is paying for transport, accommodations, food, and paying for the tent for protester? Is Soros funding a major portion of the protesters expense? The American Congress never mentions Soros’ name; seems he may own most of them.
He sure called it.
BS. I’m glad he’s no longer a senator, but he’s doing a great job at my Alma Mater.
