I don’t know but I’m with You ! The Mrs. Can’t stand it either. What drives Me Crazy is the way Brits misspeak with the HondER, ToyotER !!! They think they are the best at everything !!! Just because they create the mensa intellectual club with their stupid ideas don’t make them a rocket scientist...
I was dating a Brit who was always complaining about American Grocery stores and other stuff. One day I asked her if they were so good then why did We kick their asses in the Revolutionary War ? She had no answer for that question.🤪
She owned a Bar and Grill in North Little Rock and had Brit food that people didn’t particularly like. She wasn’t making any money and I told her to let Me run the Kitchen and Menu and I would make her $$$ at lunchtime. I started making Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and a vegetable, CFS Dinners, Pot Roast, Fried Chicken, Fried Catfish and for the first time since she owned the place it made a PROFIT !!!

Note - Magnussen received three 10-second time penalties for leaving the track and gaining an advantage, and a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits. Hamilton received a 20-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
The only ‘food’ the Brits make, that I had years ago (1964), was the ubiquitous Fish & Chips, wrapped in newspaper at the little shops all over London. Lots of mailt Vinegar, a pint of Dark Ale, and I did enjoy it. Can’t find that anymore. Now, it’s all ME shitholes’ Shwarma crap, full of goat testicles, dog anuses and rotten vegs.
I was stationed in England for nearly 2 years back in the day, and learned to enjoy the Brits' distinctive speech characteristics and idioms.
Yes, they can sometimes emote on such things as live sports and some comedies, however their speaking typically contains an understated side, which I learned to appreciate.
Silverstone is a great track, btw.
The Brits are fine narrating Masterpiece Theater or some idiot Cricket Match, but STAY AWAY FROM F1 AUTO RACING!

He's got half a dozen faster drivers living rent-free in his head (including his teammate), and his ego can't abide not being "the fair-haired boy." And he's a crappy development driver so the honeymoon at Ferrari (if there is one) will be brief.
There's a steady diet of humble pie coming his way, so I wouldn't be surprised if he retired at the end of the season (if he lasts that long).
