I’m just skimming through this thread to see the devotees opinions on one of the many sports that are WAAAY overblown in real world importance. Your last line there is a clue to one of several things that are important: being able to keep the car running.....
Back in the days of Boss 429s, probably 3/4 of the guys and 1/4 of the girls I went to high school with knew at least the basics of how to keep those engines maintained.
Today it’s probably 1/8 of the guys and 1/32 of the girls. But they know a LOT about sports.
Age being a disqualifier?
