The Neolithic girls probably did. But at that time there wasn’t this overlay of complex culture over everything, which makes such urges dangerous, in almost every way. Females of our species are designed for long-term pair-bonding and the circumstances of high schools just isn’t conducive to this.

And there is evidence that a sequence of failed attempts at pair-bonding may create permanent psychological damage for girls/women.

The available (young) males have not been able to prove themselves, or they carry only pseudo-status (teachers). Along with every other problem. None are realistic partners for long term pair bonding.

Nature simply hasn’t caught up with modernity.

We’re going to go back to the Neolithic period to justify teachers boinking teenagers they are responsible for?
