Anytime you kill the sons, daughters, parents, or spouses of other people you are creating a huge risk of retaliation for your own self-destruction. The best thing for Israel to do is learn their lessons on the missiles that got through and learn everything they can about the ones that were launched. They should be very careful about escalation.

They have bombarded Israel but have failed to really hurt or harm them.
Are you saying that Iran's point was to show the world that it is a war-like country - but incapable of actually effecting any real damage to its perceived enemy?!

Iran attacked Israel DIRECTLY. Israel will respond in kind now and rightfully so.
Making predictions is difficult, especially about the future.
I see it playng out like this; This event will generate a huge number of vanity posts that are both insipid and pointless.
What is unfolding here is nothing short of biblical prophecy.
It’s actually more of a matter of what the bible says about where this is going... It’s already been laid out.
More specifically, I believe we are witnessing the onset of Psalm 83 and Zecharia 12.
Jerusalem has certainly become a burdensome stone for all the nations who have come against it, with Israel’s arab enemies surrounding it, seeking to cast them out as a nation.
What the bible says about what happens next is God’s eventual intervention and destruction of Israel’s immediate enemies AND all the nations which are coming against it.
For now, it appears as though Iran is backing down... but this is not over. At some point, it is southern Iran that gets toasted (literally), so much so that Iranian refugees in that area will be the ones scattered all over the globe... so it does look like Israel is going to take out Iran’s nuclear program for good.
We also know from the bible that at some point Damascus will be LEVELED overnight (utterly demolished). I think Iran’s posturing right now is intended to get Israel to relax a little bit, JUST AS ISRAEL DID with Hamas... (backing off acting like they were withdrawing, then striking hard)
EVENTUALLY (hopefully sooner rather than later), a major shift in tensions will occur as the result of a big victory by Israel, or political defeat over Israel, or divine intervention... regardless, it will lead to the nations declaring “Peace and Safety!”.
It is at that point I believe the rapture takes place just prior to “sudden destruction” falling on the nations in judgment for their stance against Israel. The global chaos which follows that event will give the anti-christ opportunity to rise to power and take control of the one world government... ushering in the tribulation period.

And now it is time for Israel to make their point that you cannot attack them without a response.
My opinion....
Bring on Crusades II. Time to eradicate this murderous cult known as “Islam”. It’s a false religion, with a false god, who’s only goal is to subject the world to their command, and exterminate those that don’t submit.
Iran doesn’t have anything else to throw at Israel, so this, and any other attacks, will be limited.
I’m more worried that Israel won’t finish Iran like it needs to do...because the hand-wringers are fretting...
