Every time I see 3-4 foot tall ornamental grass, I drool a little. I’ll get some eventually.

Start with Karl Foerster. Man, I LOVE that grass! I have a few across the front of the house - it has a fieldstone foundation, and is south-facing so gets direct sun and heat all day, every day. Perennial Grasses, Sedum and Viburnum just love it there and it's terrific fall color from all of them. Beau had prickly-icky Barberry in there before I got here. Ugh!

They use 'Karl' (we're on a first-name basis by now - I've sold 100,000 of them, LOL!) in parking lot medians around here - no water, no maintenance, full sun. It's a Miracle Plant!
