Yep that about sums it up. Pretty bleak actually.
Yes, we have a Trump-like alternative up here (PPC) but it’s at a very low 3-4% support level, and the Conservatives under P.P. are fairly similar to the RINO wing of the GOP, only a modest improvement over Trudeau and prone to slower motion globalism. If they win, things won’t change as much as the linked article claims (it sounds like Con propaganda, the usual stuff, very right wing at election time, then they forget all about how they won election and govern from center).
Even Stephen harper was in the final analysis just a speed bump on our out of control journey to the WEF oblivion that is so enthusiastically supported by Liberals and our lapdog media.
Obviously they aren’t very bright to allow themselves to get so screwed up before noticing

We don't have to deal with the carbon tax in the states (yet).
The ones I know (liberals) are just so certain that a conservative is wrong in about everything. They don’t want to hear what you have to say because you are considered automatically wrong. Oh, well...so be it. They will have to learn the hard way & when they are so certain they are right, that will take a long time; more than I want to spend. Now , I know you don’t want to trust the media every time, and with some of them...not any time. That’s the one the liberals listen to; I’d bet on it.
