Maybe elsewhere. Around here every other car is a Subaru, so you can’t apply the normal stereotypes. They have NRA and US Marines stickers and everything. They’re popular because this is snow country.
I find the hate for the Subaru interesting. I think it says something about the people who criticize it. I purchased my first Subaru Forester in 1995, and haven’t owned any other car since.
Yes...I have to drive in all weather due to my job, I don’t have the luxury of skipping work because people depend on me, and I don’t get to wait until the roads are plowed.
Worst piece of crap car I ever owned was a Ford. Never ever will buy another one again. Ever.
