Yeah. I liked them. Had 3 of those, my father has one now. Had a couple outback’s too.
Were excellent in the winter. Fit the kids and all our stuff. Reliable.
I had no problems with them at all.
“For me, it’s the BMW just a certain type of personality “
The type of personality that appreciates fine Bavarian automobiles, thank you very much. :)
I’m not throwing this in as an “idiot car” but the problem needs mentioning. I have a friend who is an excellent mechanic. He used to own his own gas station and he repaired vehicles as well. He still rebuilds old carburetors for cars, trucks and tractors. He had a friend who came to him with a problem. The friend owns a 2016 Ram Pickup, and at 70,000 miles the transmission developed a problem. So he took it to his mechanic and was told that the transmission couldn’t be repaired and it needed to be replaced and it would cost 5,000 dollars. Then he took it to the dealer and the dealer said the transmission couldn’t be fixed and it needed to be replaced and it would cost 5,000 dollars. So he took it to my friend. My friend researched it and saw what the problem was, and agreed that it couldn’t be fixed. Ouch.
I know a 75 year old man who has a Subaru Forrester. He’s far from being a Lib.
Whatever car this idiot drives.

His comments about covid and RFK jr. makes me think he’s got a glass house and throwing rocks so BMW Z4 it is.
Dodge Challenger and Charger.
In 2012 I totalled my Toyota Yaris by hydroplaning in the rain kn the freeway.
Took the residual equity check from insurance and bought a Subaru legacy wagon on Craigslist with 200 k miles. AC still blew ice cold. Drive it for another 100 k until t-boned on icy roads by driver who couldn’t stop. It stove in the passenger side and blew out passenger windows in February Michigan.
I still drove it home and to a Subaru dealer where I bought a demo low miles Impreza.
Sold on Subarus with AWD in Michigan Winters.

Sounds like the that is trying the so smart it has lost sight of its function.
That problem has plagued many a late model year vehicle unfortunately not just Subaru.
Toyota for the most part has kept the practicality up thru the tech revolution.
Not a lesbian (guy).
But do have a friend who thinks he’s a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. /sarc.
One of the best cars for the snow with the high wheelbase and all-wheel drive. I drive these for hundreds of thousands of miles. Keep up with the oil changes and required maintenance and they will run practically forever.
Dodge pickup transmissions and 4 wheel drive transfer cases are total crap.
Time bombs waiting to go off .
Which articles are exclusively written by idiots?
Articles asking about cars exclusively driven by idiots.
The stupidity of the premise is too strong to put in words.
Subaru.
Any Subaru; the Lesbolimo.
Around here, it’s thr Dodge Ram.
Nothing against the truck, which strikes me as fine.
But the drivers are complete over aggressive idiots, generally from Mexico.
I think they get issued a Dodge Ram and a university of Texas shirt at the border.
