Several rabbis I know who do outreach have told me how shocked they were when they first encountered baal teshuvah (returnees to Jewish observance) with tats and MLB caps who could rap on a moments notice. Following their biker uncles from years ago, I guess.
In Israel, Leftist Judaism-haters haven’t been able to win an election for decades, and their stranglehold on senior military, intelligence, education, law and medicine is inevitably slipping away as well. Attempted violent insurrection is their last hope.
Particularly if the left loses the ability to cram tv and movies with homo couples and rainbow logos, they will certainly feel backed into a cold concrete corner.

If they can turn elements of that culture originally devised to lead youths astray into tools to serve the righteous message, that's a great outcome.
