I get it. Roy is all over the place ideologically. I thought he was one of the dependable good guys but he has proven to not be dependable. Apparently he is well aware of which side his donor money is buttered.
I would like nothing more than to be proven wrong on this.
Trump knows what’s what. To me what all this is is the fact that Primary season is upon us. Some Texan representatives are still in the “I’ll support thr nominee” phase. Politicians, Ted Cruz, for whom Trump has beem extremely generous towards. If you won’t back me why should I back you?
Trump is once again rage posting while overlooking one tiny little detail. The filing deadline in Texas was last week lolz.
Another tiny detail is that so called “RINO” Chip Roy has a 100% conservative rating. Chip Roy’s true crime? He won’t blindly kiss Trump’s reckless behind.
Don’t believe it. Roy is 100% on the conservative Liberty Score. When MAGA goes against people like Roy, Massie, Reynolds, DeSantis, Cruz, etc., they’re not putting country first. They’re putting Trump first.
He is on TV bashing Trump. He’s been a big DeSantis supporter from the start.
See Thomas Massie’s decisive committee vote on the Biden-McCarthy debt ceiling bill last June as a perfect example of this.

Chip Roy is like any undependable house member and worse with this.
This talk of ratings with the American Conservative Union or whoever . . . . what is their criteria?
Do they measure his commitment to Drain the Swamp? Do they measure his efforts to refuse all funding for essentially anything until prosecutions against Trump end? Do they measure any refusal of GOPe money in his campaigns?
If not, they are not measuring conservatism.
Trump has been the presumptive nominee for 3yrs.
Trump is 6/5 betting fav to be next.
He is the unquestionable leader of the GOP.
He has also been treated more disorderly and unlawfully than any other American citizen ever.
Does the GOP rally around him inhibiting the lawlessness?

This is true 100%. Trump is only hurting the party and the country when he does this type of stuff. I'm tired of it. We've have to keep in mind the big picture here, which is to improve the country -- not to blindly support Trump's ego.
