That s not correct at all.

It is 2 mg, not 2 ng.

A nano gram is 1/1000th of a microgram. And a microgram is 1/1000th of a milligram.

Fentanyl patches range from 12 to 100 micrograms.

If 2 nano grams would kill you, the patches would kill everyone who is prescribed them.

Yes. Defense attorney brought it up. Medical testimony didn’t support the idea.

Fentynal suicide. One of over 100,000 ODs per year. But, ARs are the problem?

I wonder what his liver looked like.

Reminds of a guy that worked at the same place I did...was the known dope pusher that scored for the upper management. Well the dude had a huge umbilical hernia that stuck out like 2" from his belly. I used to tease that his liver was trying to escape. I miss those days....

The combination of everything he had in his system was a toxic stew.

He may have been. But he wasn’t tried for being a dirty cop, and as far as I know he hadn’t been convicted of any of those “complaints”.

He was being tried for the murder of George Floyd, and as far as I’m concerned, it was a show trial to find a whipping boy to Lynch. I thought the law specified for a crime like that, a guilty charge would be “beyond reasonable doubt”.

Whether one thinks that Derek Chauvin was a good or bad cop, is irrelevant in this case, because there are certainly “ reasonable doubt “as the toxicology reports would indicate.

>> Floyd was in bad shape. But Chauvin still killed him.

How exactly?

He probably died from an extra-adrenal paraganglioma.

Yes he is, and he should be freed!!

He needs to stay away from Minneapolis, however. Too bad-it was once a great city!

He was being tried for the murder of George Floyd.

Murder? No. Manslaughter? Yes.

"I see morphine was found in his urine. If quinine was also present in his system, that would probably indicate he also had a taste for heroin."

Big Gorge had three different fentanyl metabolites in his system. Big Gorge was addicted to street fen, courtesy of Xi. You are welcome.

"Murder? No. Manslaughter? Yes."

Murder3 is negated by his overlapping work relationship with Big Gorge at LNR. When Murder3 is overturned, that also overturns the Murder2 Unintentional conviction (shared elements).

That leaves the Manslaughter2 conviction, for which Chauvin would serve 6 years and 121 days, max. That would leave about 5 years to serve ... and had Big Gorge served the entirety of his sentences, we wouldn't even be reading about this mishigas.

Try to keep up. He was convicted on all three charges. Second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter. I suggest that you watch “The Fall of Minneapolis”.

I disagree with the murder charges. I don't think he did it with "intent". But manslaughter? Yes. It was his responsibility as a cop. To protect and to serve. George Floyd was killed on his watch.

5-10 years.

Let’s be honest. If Chauvin was black and Floyd white the likely outcome would have been an internal investigation and no charges, since he was following MPD protocol.

True, but the end point is the same. Chauvin was offered up as a sacrifice to the mob.

He may have been a POS cop, but you improve the quality of police by removing them from the job, not throwing them in jail to be murdered.

It is an injustice and a stain on our country and all of us that we allowed...no...fostered that.
