I might get angry responses to this, but I believe this “out of the blue” event might have something to do with the increase of anti-vaxx people going after even the pneumonia vaccine.
This started in China where every person there has no choice of vaccination or not. Also, the pneumonia vaccine does not stop pneumonia. My mom gets it every year and gets pneumonia almost every year.
I believe the vaccines have crushed the immune system in people that got booster after booster and causing what you’re seeing. Do I have proof…no. But I do not trust anything anymore.
Do children typically get the flu vaccine? I thought it was mainly adults.
Could be part of it. Another factor is isolation prevented kids from being exposed to the usual suite of early childhood illnesses and developing robust immune systems.
It also may not be out of the blue, but out of Wuhan. It could be that the Chinese realized that we don’t revere the elderly as much as they do and decided to try something that infects children preferentially.

I can offer a counter-indication. The Chinese have supposedly been forced into 95%+ vaccination uptake. But they are the first ones showing problems with these new childhood respiratory diseases.
That does not have anything to do with "antivaxxers".
And the mRNA treatment is not a vaccination anyway. It is an experimental gene therapy, supposedly with temporary presence in the tissue. It was called a "vaccine" to increase acceptance for coerced mass participation in the largest medical experiment in history.
Plenty of people are still accepting real vaccines for pneumonia, flu, measles, and other known diseases. The risks for conventional vaccinations are quite low and well established. Their effectiveness in preventing disease is pretty good. Well, except for flu shots, which are only about 30% effective.
I will pass on the flu shots. Had a bunch of the other standard vaccinations though, on a schedule drawn out for years. It may not be good to bunch them all up at once, especially the pneumonovax. Got specific advice from a real medical doctor on that point.
The risks for the mRNA treatment are unknown, but the preliminary indicators are bad. Very bad. The effectiveness of the mRNA treatment at preventing COVID looks to be about zero.
When have children ever gotten a pnuemo vax? I got it for several years after I ruptured my spleen when I was 11, but no one else my age was getting it.
