The State of Oregon’s miseducation establishment has finally gone to the logical extreme of woke leftism by ruling that school kids no longer have to learn to read, write, or do math because minorities aren’t capable of learning that boring old white supremacist stuff.
On Oct. 19, the state Board of Education decided to throw out all standards for reading, writing, and math because the standards “harm minorities.”
Of course, they only “harm minorities” because Oregon’s miseducation establishment doesn’t bother to try and teach it to them in the first place. So, naturally they have no mastery of it by the time they are set to graduate.
“Oregon Department of Education and members of the state school board said requiring all students to pass one of several standardized tests or create an in-depth assignment their teacher judged as meeting state standards was a harmful hurdle for historically marginalized students, a misuse of state tests and did not translate to meaningful improvements in students’ post high school success,” The Oregonian reported…

There are STILL millions of conservatives that believe that Leftists only want the best for people, although ‘misguided’ a bit (even some here who show it by refusing to vote for less-than-perfect Republicans).
Sadly, we’ll likely be in concentration camps before these people understand the true threat of Leftists.

The left is hellbent on destroying minorities.
What they avoided saying (you have to think about this)...a state with a marginal number of blacks (say 2-percent) does have a fair number of Hispanic folks (13-percent) who are new arrivals, don’t speak the language, and their education (in Peru, Honduras, Venezuela, etc) doesn’t match with US standards.
So this group has been pushed along the various grade levels, and reached the 12th where they can’t pass the state-test to say they are capable of reading, writing and math.
The state? It can’t rectify this without admitting they passed kids who aren’t capable...to the 12th grade and want them to get a certificate to say ‘finished’ when they can’t do the work.
As for fixing or resolving this? How? You’d need several thousand tutors to bring the new Hispanic kids up to the right level, and the state doesn’t have the money for that. This test business will never be put back into effect (my humble belief).
Great, then close down the schools and refund the taxes. Those who want educated children can homeschool the others can dig ditches or become baristas

I took my undergraduate alma mater out of the will some time ago - this isn’t the first offense. The questionnaire they decided to greet freshmen with was a huge red flag - with a hammer and sickle.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
ALL Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots in the nation need to come to the rescue of Oregon students by primarying all state and federal lawmakers and executives up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company, Jordan (and others?), replacing them with patriot lawmakers who will actually do their constitutionally enumerated duty to guarantee each state a republican form of government.
"Article IV, Section 4 (4.4): The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."
After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.
As a side note to this post, consider that probably the main reason that we hear media complaints about the electoral college is the following.
The electoral college is now the only thing stopping the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments from permanently establishing a puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
Why study and work to learn something when you can take the democrat pity party 'people of color' guilt trip route or use the sexual weirdo 'kink gives privilege' pervert card?
