she was essentially giving my ‘hitman’ an IOU. Well, that's just rude.

Likely a crime to fake this too. Everything is criminal these days.

There is a school of thought that suggests Ms. Lula would be better served by staying in jail where she would be safe.

Ramon doesn’t need to worry anymore. She can’t cash cow him anymore and she’ll be a fool to try a 2nd attempt. He came out good- rid of her and she gets nothing in the divorce but some jail time and shame. Mundo is a keeper pal.

Her name is Lola
She was a showgirl
But that was 30 years ago
When they used to have a show
Now it’s a disco, but not for Lola
Still in the dress she used to wear
Faded feathers in her hair
She sits there so refined
And drinks herself half-blind
She lost her youth, she lost her Tony
Now she’s lost her mind

This scenario does happen, if the true crime I read and watch is correct.

These were the folks that owned that boxing club right? One of the Discovery+ true crime docs (American Monster?) had an episode on this like a couple years ago I think. Pretty crazy. They have video and audio of her with the "hitman" after she thinks it happened.
The cops have her back in interrogation acting all distraught when the husband walks into the room. She immediately starts crying and asking him for help.

IF story is true...he should not be publicizing it so broadly...she might be planning revenge...surprised he didn’t get a hit man himself after she got released...IF the story is true...IF...

Man was sleeping when he sensed something and opened his eyes only to see his wife with a pillow about to smother his face.
She said she was just fluffing the pillow....
The guy can now sleep with both eyes open.
