I think Tony Soprano was relieved to be shot during it. But...was he?

When I play the Who I generally skip the “hits”, I much prefer the deep cuts.
I usually skip “Baba O’Reilly” and go straight to “Bargain”.

“A song Dickey Betts wrote from our second album, uh, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”
“Already, gentlemen, a-one, two, a-one two three four...”
That’s swoon- worthy stuff right there from our dear departed Duane
People miss that when they don’t listen to the vinyl record. Duane talks through out the album. He gives credit to the songwriters and to all the “cats in his band”

When I was growing up, the Monkees were my faves
Monkees are way more talented than people give them credit for.

Bruce Springsteen’s entire catalog Born to Run was a pretty good song.

Yes. David Chase basically admitted it. It was actually one of the first things he scripted out, and you can follow the order of the scenes and see the pattern.
I think Chase’s mistake was that most people at the time wouldn’t have recognized it, but with repeated viewings, it becomes quite clear what happened.

Eh- i’m a Genesis fan going back to the 70’s. Saw them in concert at lest a half dozen times.
Abacab was the beginning of the end imo. “No Reply”???? UGH!!

I like oldies with words and Melodies. Not a lot of unintelligible screeching like some of what passes for classic rock.
But then I’ve achieved full geezerhood.

Abacab was the beginning of the end imo. “No Reply”???? UGH!! I thought Rutherford's bass was good on it. But it probably should have been on Phil's solo album. But "Keep It Dark" is one of my favorites.

A lot of songs were #1 on Billboard- doesn’t mean they’re rock songs. Hell- half the people in the R&R HOF were not even rockers
