I have trouble generating much compassion these days.
Yes, it was a broadcast as relating to the absence of churches/Christians overall encountering the people, where they are, with the gospel. For about 35 years I have usually tried to offer a gospel tract to every new person whom I encounter on the street, by the grace of God. And as for compassion, that comes from God, and if He did not have compassion on us vile sinners, then we would be damned. And in any case, Ezek. 33:8 and 1 Corinthians 9:17 still applies.
