It was only a matter of time before we see why Rupert Murdoch kept Council on Foreign Relations member Maria Bartiromo on staff.  Today Ms. Bartiromo showed her GOPe bona fides with a full-throated defense of Kevin McCarthy and the effort to fund government by continuing resolution.

As the combative interview takes place, pay *CLOSE* attention to the glimpses of Ms. Bartiromo’s phone¹ that appear in her screen shot.  I will bet you a donut Kevin McCarthy was texting her in real time with instructions on what to say to Matt Gaetz.

That was one of the best debates I’ve seen recently. Gaetz nailed it, time and time again. I dont care if Maria was right or wrong, Gaetz made his arguments clearly, in plain english and to the point. Very few on the right are as smooth.

Gaetz is the only republican who has done anything about status quo. He is the only one to move on old fashioned Mccarthy.. Who is not ready to do anything.
