A 10-year old Porsche with a claimed 199mph top speed would put it in the 911 GT3 category. Seems unlikely, but might be dad’s toy or hobby.
When I got my son his first car I purchased a 2-seater with manual transmission so:
a) he would never have 6 kids piled in that he needed to impress. (one blonde is likely as bad but unavoidable).
b) manual shift requires a degree of attention. Anything that improves a 16 year old's attention to driving, even slightly, is probably a good thing.
