Chicago White Sox could move to Nashville and change MLB landscape

Take a good look at the cities and states that certain Major League Baseball teams call home.

Within a decade or so, it's possible the name and location of certain teams could very much change; and the Chicago White Sox are now the fourth team reportedly posing a relocation.

In a report from Crain's Chicago Business, veteran journalist Greg Hinz reports the Chicago White Sox are considering a move to somewhere else within the Chicago area an entirely different state altogether — that being Nashville, Tennessee.

The question is, will anyone in Chicago even notice?

Tennesseans will probably insist they change to the Orange Sox.

I wouldn't mind as long as it's not too bright.

Since 1958 America has gone straight downhill.

And what happened in 1958? That’s right, boys and girls! The Dodgers left Brooklyn.

Nothing will be right again until the Dodgers come home.

There's a bunch of MLB teams in the Rust Belt that are going to move to the Sun Belt and Salt Lake City.

So we could see a lot of teams moving starting around 2030. A lot of it is due to demographics. And yes, mismanagement by the Democrats.

“According to CBS Sports, the team would consider relocation if such dollars don’t come through, yet Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has proposed a $290 spending bill to upgrade the ballpark.”

You would think the Brewers could come up with an extra two-hundred and ninety bucks.

Or screw it. The Brewers might be tempted to move to Austin instead.

I would like for the Sox to stay in Chicago or at least the area, but I would really like them to start caring about playing baseball and winning games.

Good Question!

Next.... Will anyone in Nashville even notice?

That is a small market. Time will tell.

Orlando is hoping to attract a Major League Baseball team.
I think that is a larger market but, “time will tell.”
My hope is that, if the White Sox go anywhere in the Universe, they change the ownership, the GM, Manager and pitiful roster!!!!

It’s not that orange that you can stand… Tennessee’s colors… it’s that throw up orange. It’s not that orange that you can sit with. It’s that puke, inside-of-a-pumpkin orange. And I don’t like pumpkins.

Ever since the Black Sox Scandal, they’ve been second-fiddle in Chicago.

I love it how when the Cubs won the World Series, everybody said it was Chicago’s first WS win since 1908. Totally ignoring the Sox win in 2005.

It's a growing market.

I’m in favor of bulldozing Boston University and rebuilding Braves Field.

I will even agree to call it Brewers Field.

“The Brewers might be tempted to move to Austin instead.”

Austin voters would never vote to build a MLB baseball stadium and there is not a space in Austin City Limits that would be large enough and cheap enough to build a stadium.

Rangers and Astros would never allow it.
