This was one action-packed scene.
An irate moviegoer was caught on tape pummeling a fellow patron over a seat in a Florida theater earlier this month, authorities said.
The unidentified suspect appeared to throw numerous punches at a 63-year-old man who stumbled to the ground during part of the unhinged attack on July 10, according to footage released by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
The confrontation between the two men began when the victim and his wife saw the suspect and his female companion in the VIP seats they purchased in advance before showing up at the AMC Pompano theater, police said.
When the victim “politely” asked the pair to move, witnesses told investigators the alleged perp “became hostile” before standing up and “aggressively getting in the victim’s face,” the sheriff’s office said.

I don’t go to theaters any more. I have 60 to 70” screens. And when I did go it was for day time showings with few people in the theatre. Also the theatres near me are all gun free zones so it’s soft target areas.
You know it’s beyond sad that you have to be concerned that every black person you come across within a certain age group is a potential violent thug. Male or female.
Send them all to Liberia. We can’t co-exist.
Happens all the time at concerts I go to. Today's youth are entitled and disrespectful and annoying.
Oh,,, so its the “old guys” fault,, ya know since he paid for the RESERVED seats...
So just take it? This is the problem.
The kid hoodlum stole the guy's seat, I would have asked the punk to leave as well. The punk kids should see the inside of jail cells, that will simmer them down.
I don't go anywhere where there are feral youths, most are mentally ill and stupid, not a good combo.
i hate the “pick your seat” option at the movies.
If someone horrible is behind, in front ,or right next to me I have nowhere to go.
I’d rather have the option to move around.
i think most peoples “bias” is due to experience.
Keeping a bad element at arms length is becoming more and more difficult thanks to liberals........we shoulda moved to Flagler County when we had the chance
I don’t disagree. My comment really stems from last Fall seeing a dude about 70 absolutely up in the face of a guy about 30 over some dispute. Old man turned and said something to the guy’s girlfriend/wife. Young dude proceeds to beat the living shit out of the old man until several of us could get him off of him.
Was telling a buddy about it a few days later and then we went down the rabbit hole of seeing lots of old guys run their mouths to far younger, more physically capable men. Out theory was they think their age protects them so they never try to deescalate. I’m not into slapping old guys around, but a lot of people simply don’t care, especially a particular demographic.
Costs too much now.
I’m thinking New Hampshire is my future.
Maybe Idaho or Montana.
Previously I looked to Europe, but white people are planning their suicide via Islam and Africa.
I’m not referring to the merits of the dispute. Looks like the old guy was fully justified to be pissed. I’m referring more to the phenomenon that young guys will bash old guys. See my #32.
The assault was made on an old man by an out of control NEGRO.
The attack was purely out of control racist rage by a feral barbarian
These days, yes. In a better time, it would have been a bit embarrassing and all put down to an innocent mistake (even if it wasn’t) and everyone would have moved on to enjoy the movie.
Most theaters are empty
I like first-come-first-served or all seats reserved in advance. Not a fan of first-come-first-half-dozen-seat-savesies-for-friends-that-turn-up-after-the-movie-starts-maybe.
Just another son of Obama.
I thought it was a felony to attack senior folks.. (?)
