Black, Hispanic NYers who failed teacher’s test strike $1.8B in NYC settlement

Failing the New York State teachers’ exam really paid off — especially for a Queens man who learned this month he’s getting a $2 million windfall over it.

Roughly 5,200 black and Hispanic ex-Big Apple teachers and once-aspiring educators are expected to collect more than $1.8 billion in judgments after the city stopped fighting a nearly three-decade federal discrimination lawsuit that found a certification exam was biased.

OMG. Only in New York City, land of libtard idiots and phenomenally libtard idiot judges. This article states that "...black applicants on average scored passing grades only 53% of the time, and Latinos had an even lower passing rate, just 50%..." So because the black and Hispanic test takers were so thoroughly ignorant of American culture--can you imagine the limited horizons they would have available to enrich their students' lives?--they get paid MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to make it up to them that they failed!! Soooo typical of dimmocraps--can't pass the standards? Eliminate them! And in this case, say you're sorry for showing up the inferiority by paying them millions.

I took the LAST test discussed in this article in order to become a NYC teachers. I was only 7 points short of a perfect score. Should I now sue NYC for rewarding people who only got about half the questions right?

NYC apparently has $1.8 billion to pay off failure AND the salaries and such they would have earned, but they apparently are short $600 million to the point that they are trying to deprive City municipal retirees---firemen, policemen, teachers, EMTs, sanitation workers, etc.---who kept NYC running for decades, of the Medigap health insurance which was promised them in the City Code. The mayor and thoroughly corrupt union heads are trying to beat up on the most vulnerable group, elderly people who gave decades of their lives in service to the city. They are trying to force retirees to accept an Aetna Medicare Advantage plan which is far inferior to the Medigap insurance we now have and more expensive, too. They also have a much higher rate of denial of medical care doctors deem necessary and a lot of doctors won't take it. They need the money to lavish on illegal criminal invaders who have done NOTHING for the city and now for these test failers.

Only the most blatant of libtard morons could possibly get their priorities this screwed up.
