Kill shot. Pence made it worse by dismissing the legitimate question as a “routine”. Pence didn’t have a chance before this but this was a Dukakis helmet.

Any decent politician, even a neo-con like Pence, should be able to navigate the question of ok you love Ukraine, how about America? Instead he got angry and blundered the response. He never had a chance, but this was still gold to see the stake through the heart of Mike Pence.
Mike Pence’s answer to Tucker’s question is what any good globalist would say. Never liked the guy, but I didn’t know why. Based on this any other things he has said and done show me why my intuition/gut feeling was correct.
Boy! Regardless of the sensibility of the rest of his answer, this short quip on the front end will come back to haunt him forever. (Reminiscent of “Please, clap!” JEB)

The WSJ posted a portion of this exchange in their 7/15/23 - 7/16/23 weekend edition. Their intention was apparently to show how Pence’s response was a kill-shot at Tucker. So the MSM has quite a different spin on this encounter.
Pence looked very perturbed during the question, and states probably one of the dumbest answers in US political history, “I’m not concerned”.
