The 65,000:employees affected? This is like so many retailers going out of business due to stupid decisions by their leadership. What are we to do - shop at Bed Bath & Beyond to save their employees from BB&B’s foolish management decisions? It’s corporate Darwinism, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I heard a rumor—Drinking Bud Light makes you Gay. Drink a few and your guy friends look more and more sexy and cool. Its a drug they put in the brew.
Why does whitworth survive? Why hasn’t someones just up the food chain at ambev called for his head on a pike?
Beer is mostly just beer if it passes a certain level of quality. Switching is easy. AB should know that. Loyalty is to brand and type, not the brew.

Why is he still employed? CEOs are as interchangeable as beers. They are all just about the same.

As TV commercials go, I liked it. It was positive and showed the human side of the company - the regular daily employees. I feel sorry for them because I suspect that many would not have favored the Dylan Mulvaney 1 year of girlhood campaign.
Having said all that, this is a commercial they should have done a few years ago. Anything they do know is an attempt to lead people away from what caused the problem in the first place.
Whitworth called on people not to punish the workforce but rather to attribute blame to him.

Agreed. I’ve never cared for Bud Light’s taste. That’s why I don’t drink it. Regular Budweiser and Budweiser Select (before the changed the formula) are decent though.

You’re lucky if you have that option. In the Twin Cities, many of the craft breweries are run and staffed by people who would largely agree with Dylan Mulvaney and live on the “Orange Man Bad” mantra.
