OK, I’m not a fisherman so that’s all over my head. My husband would understand it better.
My point is, not everybody that is called a troll, is a troll. It’s a term that is slung around too much, especially if somebody is losing a debate or can’t debate.
I am against conservatives controlling what other conservatives say and believe. I support Rita’s right to believe and express whatever she believes. That doesn’t mean I believe all of it, but I still appreciate hearing her opinion and it gives me another point of view to think about. I have NEVER poked or trolled anybody just to start a fight. I’m actually quite peaceful, but I will stand up for myself, my beliefs, and the beliefs of others. I respect all opinions. I respect people like Rita, Cletus, Easy, Smiley, SheepWhisper, and many others that think for themselves instead of following the “cool” person or whoever they perceive to be an authority figure (the flying monkeys) that they feel they need to impress. That doesn’t make me a troll and probably doesn’t make other people one either.
Nothing I posted to the person originally was said to incite or cause a fight. That was never my thought or intention. Still, I was slammed for it by somebody I wasn’t talking to and don’t want to interact with. I reacted badly because I was surprised. I didn’t see who it was until after I reacted because if I had, I wouldn’t have bothered since he had been previously calling Rita the same thing.
Nobody in here is a kid but some still bully others as if they were if they don’t post and believe everything they are told. I hate bullies and control freaks. It’s really sad when conservatives try to control what other conservatives believe and say. People in here are taking sides over it and that’s sad. There is a side that wants to control the narrative, a side that won’t be controlled, and a side that just doesn’t care. Nobody will control what I think, period. The side that wants to control the narrative already tried that and it didn’t work.
Actual trolls that visit here don’t need to be managed. They usually come from BTT to agitate and call names. They aren’t the regulars in here. When a regular calls a person a troll, it’s because they don’t have any intelligent debate, they are losing the debate, and it’s easier.
The real trolls behave the way HG and Chase did. Sometimes they troll everybody, call them Qtards, and are a general PITA. Mostly they target certain individuals like Easy or others that stand up for what they believe. I have been targeted by both in the past and generally ignore them.
The term troll is being thrown around too freely in here.
