I always wonder if Yugoslavia still existed, if they would have won a World Cup, seeing how close Croatia came to winning it.

I don’t know enough soccer to know if the other former parts of Yugoslavia had good players.
Yugoslavia was very competitive in soccer and basketball. You have Luka Doncic from Slovenia, there are some Croatian players in the NBA as well.
Djokovic, no doubt, will pass Serena Williams for the most Grand Slam titles in the open area and Margaret Court’s overall record number of Grand Slams.
Croatians and Serbians are unusually tall and well built people generally.
I once stood in line at Croatian airlines and everyone towered over me.
Djokovic could have won AT LEAST 25 grand slams by now had Australia and the USA not banned him in 2021 and 2022.
My late husband was Serbian and he and his family were sturdy stock! Gosh I miss him.
But how is he not dead yet from COVID?
