I do not understand this sniping against DeSantis on FR. If he runs fine. The winner of the nomination will be stronger because of it.

I have a question for you.
We know Trump was criminally set up, we know corrupt top officials in these government agencies were criminally undermining and attacking Trump and his associates, 24/7 for 7 years, and then attempted to destabilize and overthrow his administration. And we all know this influenced the last election. We know this.
And DeSantis’ response to all this high treason against Trump is to run AGAINST Trump?

The last gpvernor’s election here in Louisiana, during the runoff the democrats merely replayed what the Republicans said about each other. So no, the winner is certainly not always stronger. That line just sounds good to justify DeSantis getting in to try to wound Trump.
However, DeSantis derangement syndrome has some Freepers declaring they will sit the election out if he gets the nomination. Because what could be better for the nation than a second Biden term?
