Why Bud Light and Disney are under attack from conservatives
BBC News ^ | May 16, 2023 | Natalie Sherman

As conservatives rally around social issues, the Republican Party is clashing with corporate America. Will the fights break its longstanding alliance with big business?

At the home of Sarah Fields, a conservative activist and mum-of-three from Texas, some of America's biggest brands are no longer welcome. She cut out Disney first, turned off by children's shows featuring gay couples.

Her boycotts of Olay skin products and beers from Bud Light-maker Anheuser-Busch began more recently, after she learned they had worked with transgender social media star Dylan Mulvaney.

"My thing is protecting kids and the very first time I ever saw corporations pushing any kind of LGBTQ or any kind of trans ideology towards kids is when I really started to pay more attention," the 36-year-old says. "There are so many different ones [now], I can barely keep track."

Sarah became politically active during the pandemic, protesting against lockdowns.

Now a delegate to her state's Republican Party, she is one of the players pushing the party to rally around social issues such as gender identity and take on "woke" firms in corporate America.

Companies have been caught in the crossfire of America's culture wars before, as the country grows more polarised and firms face pressure from staff, customers and shareholders on the left and right to pick a side.

But legislative moves targeting firms mark a new frontier for Republicans, who have traditionally been allied with big business over matters like lower taxes and light regulation.

In Florida, state lawmakers voted to remove Disney's power over a district including Walt Disney World theme park, after it criticised a law that banned discussions of gender and sexuality in schools.

In Georgia, lawmakers threatened to remove a tax break from Delta Airlines, after its chief executive called changes to voting laws "unacceptable".

Why are Bud Light and Disney attacking normal Americans?

In the ‘80s there was a book written about how to normalize homosexuality; I don’t remember what it was called but it was a playbook of sorts. One way was getting Hollywood to promote it, another was getting homosexuals hired into HR of large corporations. Once there these did their best to ensure other homosexuals were hired into executive positions. Then they formed Gestapo-style Diversity Councils and accelerated the process.

Looks like it worked pretty good.

RE: Why Bud Light and Disney are under attack from conservatives

So, NOT patronizing a product because the company’s values conflict with mine is their definition of being “under attack” huh? GOT IT.

How about going back to the values that originally made me patronize your product? Is that too much to ask for? Are you even considering that alternative?

The better question is why conservatives are under attack from Disney and Bud Light.

Conservatives are not running ad campaigns that spit in the face of Disney or Bud Light and deliberately try to undermine their values and principles.

I also noticed the homo-panels forming when I worked at a couple of large corps over the last 20 years. They were responsible for pushing “tutorials” out to employees forcing them to answer ethical questions about treatment.

It is just a matter of time before they push questions that Christians with a conscience will be unable to answer “satisfactorily” and they will have to make a decision: lie or lose my job as a form of persecution.

“Companies have been caught in the crossfire of America’s culture wars before, as the country grows more polarised and firms face pressure from staff, customers and shareholders on the left and right to pick a side.”

How about doing what public companies are REQUIRED to do, which is to INCREASE SHAREHOLDER VALUE, and if those demanding that real men be replaced with cross-dressers are unable to explain how doing such increases shareholder value, then simply ignore them.

“Will the fights break its longstanding alliance with big business?”

Here’s some breaking news for the BBC - “big business did that a long time ago”.

The American Marxists are using the well-accepted corporations as Trojan Horses to defeat America’s traditional values. In this case, it is to destroy the family unit.

We had a woman in our sales department who wore high heals, stockings and a business dress. There was something weird about “her.” The big give-away was her voice was that of an adult male. Then, someone happened to be in the toilet stall next to her. “She” was in the men’s room because the women’s room was occupied and nature was calling with a shrill voice. Then he heard that unmistakable tinkle, and saw her high heels facing the toilet, like a male would do. “Carol, is that you?” “Yeah, the women’s room was occupied.”

The sales manager was informed about what was discovered with Carol. Concerned about what our customers would think, that trans freak didn’t last long in our sales department.

At a time when homo marriage had made its big push, the trans lifestyle was in the early process of ingraining their lifestyle into our society. They were pushing for medical insurance to foot the full bill for their sex-change operations. Always follow the money.

We’ve long passed the point where giving any consideration to what the Rats have to say is meaningful.

Lack of adherence to morality is the issue. Like politicians ppl are supportive of compromise. This only favors amoral extremism.

“I want to kill you 1000-times over”.

“No. We’ll compromise, you only kill me 500-times over”.
