According to my math.. 1.6 million transgenders from a population of 300 -MILLION is .004% NOT 1.4%.

If I take 1.6M and divide by 332M I get .0048 or 0.48% of the total population. For the youth numbers 0.3M divided by 332M gives me .09%.

I have no idea where the author gets 1.4% in the figuring.
