You listed the league’s best QBs, and none of them are the top paid. Hurts is now top paid. But next are all team salary kilers. They are Rogers, Wilson, Watson and can’t remember the other QB being paid more than Watson.

By definition, most of the best uoung QBs will still be on rookie contracts. Aaron Rogers is still elite, but isn’t young so he isn’t on the list.

It looks like QB development and scouting is just better and better. Brock Purdy, Mr Irrelevant, is likely to be an above average QB who can win a Super Bowl on the right team. Jalen Hurts is a top level QB gotten for a song in the second round. Mahomes himself was not a very top pick. Busts like Trubisky (I think) went ahead. There will always be busts like Trubisky and Darnold, but there is more great talent than I ever remember seeing at QB.
