I recall Seattle did the same thing a few years ago...burnt $60 million for trains that didn't fit in their rail system. Never heard if anyone was held accountable for that. Imagine...that much money just vanished, with nothing to show for it, the worst part being that since this was gubmint, it's almost certain to happen again.

Yes it is. Contractors often get called in to solve the same kinds of problems over and over again. Trust me, it happens.
