I “might” consider Toyota’s take on a hybrid. A lot of people seem pleased with them in the various types they have.
Have not paid attention to how long the battery component lasts.

Plug-in hybrids ARE the best choice for local driving, for mid-range mid-power driving for most people.
But they CANNOT be tolerated by today’s leftists and enviro’s because of their religious fanaticism and intolerance of fossil fuels.
