That is why I suggested private polling with frequent snapshots to monitor the trend. I'm here on the ground in FL and many are mad about the attacks on DeSantis. The same people put them both in office. They don't understand why Trump is attacking him when he is just doing what he is elected to do. They hated it when the Rinos did it to Trump and they see this the same way.
I don't have answers, just observations that I'm passing along. I think private polling specifically of FL voters would be wise. These people were typically non-voters but they came out in droves for Trump and then DeSantis. If they turn on Trump, he'll never get them back. That's the way they are ... truckers, bikers, waitresses, bible-thumpers, hunter, etc.

Maybe in FL, but the very people you mention in WI, PA, MI would never back DeSantis. He’d win OH, but not by 8.5 like Trump did.
