Trump is acting just like a DEMOCRAT by trying to accuse DeSantis of the very things Trump is more guilty of.
- DeSantis has donors who support Paul Ryan! (Trump’s biggest donor by far Adelson was Huge Ryan donor too)
- DeSantis is a Globalist! (Trump owns staggering amounts of international businesses and property, has spoken at the WEF and Ivanka is an official WEF “Young Leader”)
- DeSantis supported the vaccines! (Trump told reporters to call it the “Trumpcine” and to this day claims it and boosters are one of the greatest achievements of mankind, while DeSantis has empaneled a grand jury at the state level to investigate them)
- DeSantis instituted lockdowns! (Only after Trump gave nationwide shutdown guidelines multiple times. DeSantis ignored the first “two weeks to flatten the curve” order completely)

While true DeSantis is not Jeb! or Cruz. DeSantis holding fire only strengthens his position. As for DeSantis minions “smearing” Trump, you can’t control all of your supporters. Just look at all the Trump ankle biters on FR.

Because I’ll bet a lot of folks who voted for him in the past might be questioning if he is the right guy again.

Frankly I am very Trumpian, but this is getting old. I get him, he's an arse, but he's my arse. His style is a Northeast Ballbuster thing, I so get it growing up there, and if you look and listen close Coulter and Ingraham are like that, but Laura has reeled it in IMHO as she's on a different journey. He's like my buds in High School, it was constant, and in terms of going up against the Fake News and the Deep State Swamp, we want that fighter....

I agree. Trump running his mouth in a juvenile New Yorker kid way about other Republicans turns a helluva lot of people off. The question is WHY does he continue doing it?
1) His policy speeches are super. Right on.
2) There is something to these attacks that we apparently don’t know about. More to it, but not sure what. Some possibilities:
a) what if in fact RDS is a judas goat? What if his connections to the Deep State/globalists are far more than what we suspect?
b) What if Trump knows something about RDS’s planned campaign rollout and is taking preemptive actions?
c) Less likely, but what if this is kind of staged by agreement to then have the “two sides” buddy up (a la Bush and Reagan) at the convention for a united ticket? (Reminder, Bush was a SPECTACULARLY loyal Veep).
I agree, it does seem over the top, but I don’t think Trump is doing this for fun.
Trump’s bad mouthing DeSantis isn’t playing well with any of the conservatives I know.
Trump doesn’t care, though. He’s trying to firm up support with his base of Only Trumpers and secret servers in Germany nutballs. He’s just got to get to 50% or so of the primary vote to defeat DeSantis. He knows he’s going to lose some Reagan conservatives to DeSantis so why bother?

There is something else going on here that we are not privy to.
Can only speculate.
1) Trump knows something very serious about RDS’s connections to the globallists/Deep State. It’s a genuine warning.
2) Trump knows some internal RDS strategy that is/will be rolled out that he is preemptively engaging.
3) It’s playacting, with RDS being George H. W. Bush and Trump being Reagan who make up during the convention, uniting against the common evil foe.
4) Obviously, could be something else, but I do NOT think it’s just Trump going on rants. Possible, but not likely.
